Ahmad Chit is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Canada. He is experienced in providing forensic accounting, fraud analysis, quantification of damages and accountants’ negligence assessments. From North America to Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, Ahmad has extensive and diverse investigation and dispute experience. As a forensic expert, Ahmad has worked on a variety of engagements for regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, courts and tribunals, legal counsel, and large financial institutions. In both English and Arabic, he has drafted and supported numerous expert reports for both court and internal purposes, which included his analysis and expert opinion. He has worked in the following industries; agriculture, defence, pharmaceuticals, waste management, automotive and resources.

Aimee Ambrose

Aimee Ambrose is Professor of Energy Policy at the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research (CRESR) at Sheffield Hallam University. She is also a Visiting Professor at Lund University, Sweden and founder and trustee of the Fuel Poverty Research Network- an international charity funding research into energy poverty and facilitating knowledge exchange between academia and policy and practice. Aimee’s PhD was on non-technical considerations in relation to domestic energy efficiency. Her research interests, pursued over a career spanning 18 years, are primarily concerned with understanding how policies designed to reduce the negative environmental impacts of energy systems and housing impact upon and are experienced in the everyday lives of marginalised households. I am also very motivated to represent the interests of the non-human world in my research as am a vociferous advocate of justice for nature.

Doris Cordero

Tropical forester specialized in environmental management and conservation with more than twenty five years of experience in Latin American countries including Colombia and Ecuador. Extensive experience and professional training in ecosystem services, nature based solutions, climate change adaptation and mitigation, financial mechanisms for forest management and conservation, sustainable livelihoods and value chains. Extensive knowledge on projects and programmes planning, design, implementation, managerial and technical backstopping, monitoring and evaluation, including multi stakeholders analysis as an input for project development.
She works for international organizations, governments, national and international organizations including FAO, UN Environment, UNDP, IUCN, GIZ, AECID and EU. She holds a Master in Environmental Management from the Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. She has published several technical articles, as author and co-author.
Her current work as a consultant focuses mainly on sustainable development, forest conservation and climate change projects and programmes design and evaluation & policy advice for national and international organizations. She also volunteers as Regional Chair of IUCN Commission on Ecosystem Management (CEM) for South America.

Dr. Alice Rizuti

Dr Rizzuti is a lecturer in criminology at the University of Hull. Her expertise lies in the fields of food crime, food fraud, environmental crimes and green criminology, organised crime and mafia studies, corporate crime, and comparative criminal justice. Before joining Hull, Alice worked at the Department of Sociology at the University of Essex, where she completed her PhD with a research on the institutional responses to food crime and the involvements of organised crime and mafia-type groups in the food supply chain in England and Italy. She previously worked as a Research Associate for the project Countering Regional Italian Mafias Expansion sponsored by the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account and in privileged partnership with Eurojust and Europol. Alice holds a five-year degree in law from the University of Palermo (Italy) and a second-level postgraduate master in studies on corruption and organised crime at the University of Pisa (Italy).

Gerald Herrmann

Gerald A. Herrmann is a specialist and organic industry expert and speaker. He has experience with organic food fraud cases and participated in the EU’s Food Integrity project. After gaining his university degree in agriculture in 1985, he worked at Naturland, an international farmers’ association and private organic certifier: first as an organic farm consultant, then as its President and finally as its Executive Director. He has served voluntarily for nearly two decades in different capacities at the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (“IFOAM”), including as its Vice President (1989-2005) and President (2005-2008. This position, as well as other opportunities, have provided Gerald with the experience necessary to become an expert in the development of certification programs, supply chain traceability and integrity systems, as well as of organic markets worldwide. Since 2004, he has been sharing his expertise as the founding director of Organic Services.

Her career has included stints in academia and the voluntary sector, most recently as Professor of Childhood, Youth and Social Justice at the University of Leeds. She has extensive experience of conducting participatory and mixed methods research, and is committed to incorporating experiential expertise into how social issues are conceptualised, defined, measured and acted upon. She has worked on a wide range of local, national and international projects designed to better understand and address issues relating to social justice and transformative social change.

Sankar Sivarajah is a Professor of Technology Management and Circular Economy at the University of Bradford School of Management. Prior to Bradford, he started his academic career at Brunel University London.
He enjoys research and teaching which is interdisciplinary in nature focusing on the use of emerging digital technology for the betterment of society, be it in a business or government context. He is the Deputy Editor of Journal of Enterprise Information Management and has published over 70 scientific articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His research tackling societal challenges such as energy efficient digital currencies, consumer behaviour and reduction of waste has featured in reputable media publications such as The World Economic Forum, BBC Yorkshire and The Conversation.
To date, he has a successful track record as Principal and Co-investigator in over £3 million worth of Research and Innovation and consultancy projects funded by reputable funding bodies and commercial organisations. Some of the notable funders have been the European Commission (FP7, H2020, Marie Curie), Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF), Innovate UK/DEFRA and British Council focusing on projects addressing business and societal challenges surrounding themes such as AI Innovation Strategy Development, Smart Cities and Sustainable Societies.
He is an elected governing Council Member and Treasurer of the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) in the UK and a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
