our services.

Through our various services, we offer support focused on in-depth research, analytics and insight, building stakeholder relationships and supporting organisational thought leadership and policy change.

We operate as a hybrid between a management consultancy and a reputational management consultancy, and can use our understanding of what it takes to create positive reputational perceptions and build trust to inform our work.

White papers, literature reviews, trend reports and benchmarking reports

Many organisations focused on social, policy and environmental issues need to understand the academic literature and science in their areas of focus; identify global best practices and global trends; and review public reports and white papers that provide an overview of important issues. Our team has extensive experience in drafting written reports based on scientific, social science and humanities research and analysis.

Landscape and stakeholder mapping

We help clients understand the stakeholder and regulatory landscapes that they need to navigate. We conduct extensive research to identify the most important organisations, individuals, conversations and policies that our clients should consider as they seek to make an impact. This work can help clients understand how to best prioritise their resources, time and strategic focus, know the competitive landscape and identify their place within it.

3

Stakeholder opinion research

Reputation is largely determined by perceptions — so to build or change a reputation, an organisation must first understand how they are perceived. We can do this through comprehensive stakeholder opinion research, conducted using a variety of tools. Through in-depth interviews, focus groups, key informant conversations and online surveys, we can help clients understand how different stakeholders perceive them, their added value and their role. This helps us identify clear and actionable insights into issues, as well as existing expectations and perceptions — key understandings that help shape strategy, outreach and policy.

4

Stakeholder strategy and engagement plans

Making an impact on social, policy and environmental issues comes, in part, through stakeholder engagement. Engagement encourages collaborating with different organisations, often those that share mutual interests. We help our clients build long-term, meaningful and trusting relationships by helping to identify and build partnerships. We are able to devise strategies, plans and actionable convenings to create engagements and collaborations that are contribute new ideas, add value, expand networks, and build subject matter expertise.

5

Thought leadership

Thought leaders demonstrate intellectual or strategic skill and leadership on a topic. This leadership often takes the form of convening high-level conversations, engaging in progressive dialogue, leading stakeholders or publishing articles and thought pieces. Content should provide an original point of view on trends, new ideas or ways of thinking, international best practices and position the organisation as a subject matter expert. We help clients develop and express their thought leadership by helping to identify the 'territory' where leadership is most appropriate, and by supporting the expression of their knowledge, expertise and perspective through original research, sharp analysis, diverse multimedia content creation and poignant article and speech writing.

6

Policy advocacy and communications

Authentic and substantive communications strategies help organisations stand out in today's flooded information environments. Using our years of experience and unique understanding of key communications principles, we help clients understand and focus on their audiences' expectations, align their communications to meet these expectations with high quality content, structure the delivery and cadence of communications, and deliver effective internal and external communications plans. Additionally, our work on policy advocacy focuses on deep research and analysis, positioning development, audience engagement, multimedia and multi-platform communications and outreach support.

7

Organisational strategy

A strategy is a roadmap that guides an organisation. Strategies are often co-created through consultation with many different stakeholders and interest groups. Powerful strategies must contain comprehensive structures in order to be easily understandable and effective. We seek to be a collaborative thought partner for our clients' development — to help them to evolve and advance their organisational strategy through comprehensive research and analysis, conversations that challenge their thinking and assumptions, and structure and framework creations that center their ideas in a way that is impactful, clear and actionable.

Multi-stakeholder platforms and dialogue support

Leading organisations seeking to drive change need to understand and listen to the views of the public and key stakeholders, including academics and scientists, civil society organisations, think tanks, the private sector and others. We help clients build and convene multi-stakeholder platforms and events to host conversations that serve the public interest and promote collaboration and greater impact.
