Alessandra Zannier
Consultant
Alessandra Zannier is a Consultant with Shared Planet. She is passionate about international relations, environmental issues, and food security. Her focus at Shared Planet spans the biodiversity protection, just transition and food systems practice areas, working with a range of government and NGO clients. Alessandra also coordinates Shared Planet’s work with clients in the cultural heritage space. Her experience of project types includes conducting stakeholder analyses, producing literature reviews and benchmarking reports, and mapping global trends.
Alessandra holds a BA in International Relations from the University of York and an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics. She has previously worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, where she supported FAO projects to improve food security in emergency contexts, including climate- and conflict-related emergencies. Prior to this, she was a trainee at the Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna, where she was responsible for researching and monitoring developments in the war in Ukraine. Alessandra also worked as an Assistant Trade Analyst at the Italian Trade Agency in London and interned at the International Commission on Missing Persons in The Hague. She is fluent in English, Italian and intermediate French.
