
Alessandra Zannier
Senior Consultant
Alessandra Zannier is a senior consultant at Shared Planet, where she leads the Cultural Heritage and Landscapes practice area. Her focus also cuts across the food systems and humanitarian practice areas, working with a range of government, private sector and NGO clients. Her experience of project types includes conducting stakeholder analyses and leading stakeholder engagement, producing literature reviews and reports, and mapping global trends.
Alessandra holds a BA in International Relations from the University of York and an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She has previously worked for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), where she supported FAO projects to improve food security in emergency contexts, including climate- and conflict-related emergencies. Prior to this, she was a trainee at the Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna, where she was responsible for researching and monitoring developments in the war in Ukraine. Alessandra also worked as an Assistant Trade Analyst at the Italian Trade Agency in London and interned at the International Commission on Missing Persons in The Hague.
She is fluent in English, Italian and intermediate French.
