Arielle Rosenthal

Senior Consultant

Arielle Rosenthal (she/her/hers)is a Senior Research Consultant with Shared Planet. Arielle's work is particularly focused on the areas of food security, the right to food, food waste, surplus food redistribution services, and sustainable food and agricultural systems. At Shared Planet, Arielle leads the Food Systems practice area with a particular focus on food poverty, food waste reduction, and sustainable agriculture working with leading UK and global NGO clients. Arielle has conducted research and published reports, developed global mapping and stakeholder analyses, organised global conferences, presented at events, supported advocacy campaigns, coordinated a global network of professionals, and produced fundraising strategies for her clients. She has also represented both Shared Planet and her clients at global conferences on circularity, climate change and food systems. 

 

With a BA in International Development and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from McGill University and an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics, Arielle has worked with the United Nations World Food Programme in both Bolivia and Panama, Mecins Sans Frontieres, Embrace Relief in the United States, the Refugee Centre in Canada and Al Otro Lado in Mexico. Arielle also completed an exchange programme at the Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.
